Our Review of the Kid Co Peapod Plus Indoor/Outdoor Travel Bed

The KidCo Peapod Plus indoor / outdoor travel bed is a larger version of the Peapod travel bed, capable of comfortably sleeping a toddler up to 50" tall. The Peapod Plus comes in a fully enclosed canopy (or "pod") with a hand-inflatable air mattress. The ventilated canopy provides sun protection for your child, and the durable frame, easy fold, and storage bag make the Peapod Plus toddler air bed portable and convenient for you.    

Comfort & Convenience Features

Once out of the zippered storage bag, Kidco's Peapod Plus portable child air bed unfolds into a pod-like enclosure with four mesh panels with adjustable windscreens. The Peapod Plus' inflatable air mattress blows up quickly with the included hand pump, and then slides into a zippered slot to remain securely in place.

The Peapod Plus is fantastic for days at the beach, sleepovers with friends or relatives, even for camping. The Peapod Plus' adjustable mesh panels provide ventilation, keep insects out, and provide 50% UVA/UVB sun protection. If using your Kidco Peapod Plus with an infant, another benefit is that the complete zippered enclosure will keep your baby from rolling or crawling out.

I bought 2 for our twins on a recommendation. 1 came with a small leak at the blow up nipple but I loved it so much I didn't care that one deflated after 1 use. Worked great for 20+ times but the wiring became bent from folding and warped it from laying well. Customer service was outstanding and replaced them both upon returning. Love them! Be aware there are 2 sizes - 48" Long for under 2 years, 52.5 for up to 5 years old.

Peapod Plus

Very happy with the product. very unhappy with the shipping. the package arrived mangled but fortunately the Peapod was in tact.

Bed/Tent a Big Success

We bought this for our 2 1/2 yr old and she loves it. She outgrew the smaller one and we had been searching for a larger one. We are so glad we found it - after we got it, she slept in it for three weeks straight!
